How to Join

If you are interested in signing up for a weekly box of veggies, flowers and herbs from our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) venture, we are ready for subscribers!

True to its name, a CSA allows consumers to support a particular farm by committing in advance to buy a season's worth of produce. This brings consumers closer to their food source, and gives more stability to producers. It's a win-win all around!

We will supply produce for 20 weeks during the summer, from approximately mid June until the end of October, for pick-up at the farm (please contact us if you are interested in delivery to central drop-off locations for an small fee).

A full share is suited for 2 veggie-loving adults or a small family. You could also split a share with a friend. There are typically 8-10 items per week, which evolve throughout the season from tender greens to hearty root crops with many, many others in between! We plant for variety, quality and taste.

The price for the 2011 season is $500, paid for in 2 installments (1/2 due when you sign-up and the remaining 1/2 due on the first delivery). For more information or to sign up, please send an e-mail to Nicole or Stewart at info@whippletreefarm.ca or call us at (902) 532-0484.

Thank you for your interest! We look forward to providing you with healthy, fresh produce all season long!
