Spring has finally arrived! (and the blackflies aren't too far behind...)

There's a lot of activity on the farm at this time of year. Especially since it's our first year on this land, there's so much field preparation, greenhouse building, tool gathering, etc. to do. During the past couple of weeks our roster of field implements have tripled thanks to a chance meeting with our oil delivery man! The seedling greenhouse is up and the fields are almost ready for the first crops to be planted. The forsythia is blooming and cherry, pear and plum blossoms may not be too far behind. What a beautiful time of year!
